    Reservation and seating policies
The Atlas Room is a reservation driven restaurant. We do welcome walk ins and will accommodate them whenever possible. We do have a lounge area where we serve the full menu and we do not accept reservations for this area with the exception of immediate neighbors. This policy is meant to ensure guest enjoyment of their experience with us.

Our dining room seats 28 people at 7 tables at any one time with additional 8 seats at two high top lounge tables, 6 seats at the bar and additional 6 seats along the lounge edge .

Reservations are accepted by phone and a very limited number through Cityeats.com.
This policy is our only option given the size of the room. A reservationist/ manager are here to answer the phone around 3pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Sunday 10am till 4pm. All other times, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Reservation request messages left on the answering machine are honored in the order they are received. Please clearly state name, # in party, date requested and especially your telephone # twice. There may be times where an employee states that a manager must call back to confirm. Please understand this is done only to ensure proper table spacing times for the day requested. Open Table is a fantastic tool for most places but for our restaurant it is not economically or logistically feasible. We cannot accept email reservations either through our web site or directly!

    Large Party Policy
Large party reservations (7 or more) are difficult to accommodate and we offer only one per night. Please understand that other considerations such as the kitchens ability to plate a large party or creating a number of our hand crafted cocktails at one time play into our reluctance to accept them particularly on the weekends. A large party reservation on the weekend will require a credit card to reserve and must be confirmed the day of. Our ability to increase the number of diners in a party is very limited. Reservation Booking Policy We do book reservations throughout the night and use a base time scale to calculate bookings. A party of four or less is allotted two hours and party of five or more two hours and fithteen minutes. Please assume that if your reservation is at 8pm or earlier we have booked a table to follow on. We understand that on some occasions you may wish to stay longer than the average or have plans after diner that have you finishing earlier, advance notice is appreciated. For example: Longer than average-you are having dinner with friends you haven’t seen in a long time and you know you will have a lot to catch up on or shorter than average- you are attending a play or show nearby and need dinner to be faster paced. Advanced knowledge of your particular reservation requirements is very much appreciated and we promise to accommodate accordingly.

    Reservation Timing Policy
Reservations that are tardy for their reservation time are given ten minutes before we call the phone # that we have to ascertain status. Please use a phone # that you will have on you. At fifteen minutes late with no contact your reservation will be considered vacated. If you are late we most likely have booked the table after you from the original reservation time. We will do our best to change table floor plan to accommodate your tardiness but sometimes that is not possible. On very rare occasions we may ask for your table back. This is only done out of absolute necessity and only after the average dining time from your reservation time has passed. This will never happen if for any reason the delay in your dining experience is our fault i.e. kitchen has gotten backed up, server error, other patron’s actions. Especially with weekend reservations you may be told a “table back time”. This is not meant to rush, diminish or in any way take away from your experience with us but to honor commitments we have made prior to contact with you.

    Other Policies
    • All tables are considered to be on one check. Detailed separate checks are available only when server has been informed at the beginning of your meal. Equally split payments on one check up to five transactions is acceptable without notice. If for example you have six people in your group and each wish to pay individually notice is required.
    • Our hand crafted cocktails take at a minimum three minutes each to craft. Please be considerate of this fact. If for example you have six people in your group and each order a crafted cocktail, it will be at least ten minutes in preparation.
    • We do allow guest to bring in their own wine with the exception of any wines we may have on our list. There is a corkage fee of $20.00 per bottle. Unfinished wine may be taken with you but the cork must be fully compressed, in a bag and the bottle taped to prevent consuming prior to your destination.
    • Guest with food allergies must inform your server at the beginning of your meal. All common allergens will be stated in dish description.
    • We do not offer bread service! Our concept is based on preparing everything in house and we do not have that capability. When a particular menu item is designed with bread, we bake only enough for normal usage i.e. Seafood Chowder with house made potato bread. If bread service is a vital part of your dining habits, The Atlas Room may not be for you. Please remember this is an owner decision and your server can not address this issue.
    • We ask that you check your coats with us, especially longer ones. The room is small and getting long coats out of the room allows for the comfort of the guest next to you. Coats may be hung on the back of the chair but if it touches the floor it may be accidently soiled.
    • We reserve the right to charge a plating fee $3.50 for all desserts brought in by you. Prior notice is required.
    • All parties of six or more will have a service charge of 20% added to the pre-tax total.
